Anthony Rizzuto

Anthony has spent more than 30 years applying, challenging, and improving traditional approaches to insurance industry analytical problems, as well as developing many of his own methodologies. His background includes substantial experience in the pricing, reserving and analysis of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance business, as well as the design and implementation of systems to support those functions. He offers unique expertise in the areas of statistical modeling, predictive analytics and the development and deployment of custom analytic tools and management information systems. In addition to their actuarial aspects, his roles have included significant operational responsibilities, including planning and new product development.

Since 2001, Anthony has served as President and Owner of AVR Consulting. In his experience prior to AVR, he held management positions with Munich Re, Kemper, TIG Holdings, Sedgwick and Custom Risk Solutions.

Delia Roberts

Delia is a Fellow of The Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries with over 25 years of experience in the property and casualty industry.  Delia has worked in the reinsurance industry for more than 20 years.  She has priced a variety of lines including commercial auto, medical malpractice, workers compensation, and general liability.  At her prior job, Delia specialized in pricing complex multiline treaties.  She reviewed, compiled, and managed the large amounts of data associated with this type of business.  She has also participated in underwriting company audits and ceding company reviews.  Delia has also developed pricing models, pricing parameters, and various tools for conveying pricing information to underwriters. Delia currently volunteers on two of the Casualty Actuarial Society committees.

Prior to joining AVR Consulting, Delia worked with Odyssey Re, FolksAmerica Re, St. Paul Re, Munich American Re and Home Insurance/REM.

Steve Petlick
Consultant

Steve has more than 40 years of experience in the property and casualty industry, with the last three decades in reinsurance.  He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  He was active in Casualty Actuaries in Reinsurance (CARe) for a number of years, serving a term as CARe president after heading the CARe Program Committee.  At his prior company, he performed reinsurance treaty pricing analyses for a variety of lines, including commercial auto, medical malpractice, workers compensation, general liability and umbrella.  He participated in actuarial and underwriting audits of cedants, and had extensive face-to-face contact with ceding company business leaders, underwriters and actuaries. Steve also managed a team of pricing actuaries, providing mentoring and extensive peer reviews of account pricings.

Prior to joining AVR Consulting, Steve spent 28 years at Swiss Re.
